Which payment methods do you accept?

Our hotel accepts the following payment methods: Cash, Visa, American Express, Mastercard, Maestro, V Pay, Gift Vouchers, Sodexo Card, ANCV Holiday Vouchers, ANCV Connect Holiday Vouchers, Kadeos Vouchers, Cadhoc Vouchers, Havas Gift Vouchers, Tir Groupé Gift Vouchers, Afone Payment, Best Western Travel Card.
We do not accept cheques.

Do you accept holiday vouchers?

Yes we accept ANCV, ANCV Connect, KADEOS, CADHOC holiday vouchers

Where do I enter my promo code when I book?

Straight after you choose your dates in the PROMO CODE tab in the booking system.

When is check-in and check-out?

Check-in from 3pm. Check-out by 12pm.

Can I arrive early or leave late?

Yes, subject to availability.
An extra charge applies to late departures.

I still haven't received my refund for the deposit on my credit card. What is happening?

We can send you the receipt as proof of the refund and then you can contact your bank.

How much does the holiday tax cost?

The holiday tax costs 2.95€ per night per person.

Is your hotel family-friendly?

Absolutely. We provide family rooms sleeping 3 or 4. Please see our rooms page. We provide high chairs, cots and other baby equipment on request.

Can I pay for my stay on-site?

Yes, however an authorisation hold is required when you book to secure your booking.

How many floors does your hotel have?

There are 6 floors at the Hotel Masséna.

Is there a lift in the hotel?

Yes, our 4* hotel has two lifts.

Do you do anything special over the Christmas holidays?

Join us for a magical Christmas holiday at the Best Western Plus Hotel Masséna Nice. Our 4* hotel gets glammed up for Christmas.

We provide all kinds of services to make your break even more magical throughout December. Mulled wine tasting, sweet bar, photo stand with Father Christmas and more surprises.
If you stay on New Year's Eve, the hotel manager invites all the guests for a celebratory glass of champagne.

Do your rooms with sea views?

Our 4* hotel is in the heart of the city centre near Place Masséna so no rooms have sea views.

Do your rooms with a balcony/terrace?

The Best Western Plus Hôtel Masséna Nice has rooms with balcony or terrace, on request and at an additional cost. To book a room with a balcony or terrace, select the category “Deluxe Room with Balcony” or “Deluxe Room with Terrace”.

Do you have twin rooms?

Most of the rooms at Hotel Masséna Nice are set up as twin rooms i.e. with two single beds.

Are there bathrobes and slippers in the rooms?

Bathrobes and slippers are provided in our Deluxe Rooms and Junior Suites. You can ask for them at reception if you stay in other room categories.

Are there irons and ironing boards in the rooms?

An iron and ironing board is provided in the Deluxe room (in the wardrobe).
You can ask for them at reception if you stay in other room categories.

Is there are a hairdryer in the room.

Yes, all our rooms have hairdryers.
Individual hairdryers are available from reception.

Do you have disabled rooms?

Yes, the Deluxe rooms on request and subject to availability.

Do you have quiet rooms?

Several rooms at the Hotel Masséna are on the quiet side facing onto the internal courtyard.
Quiet rooms are available in all categories so please ask at reception.

Do you have adjoining rooms?

The Hotel Masséna has great adjoining rooms for your holiday in Nice with family or friends.

Do you have family rooms?

We provide triple and/or adjoining rooms sleeping up to 4 guests.

Can you smoke in the rooms?

Hotel Masséna is entirely non-smoking. You can only smoke on the balconies and terraces using the ashtrays provided.

Could you organise a surprise in the room for my partner?

Of course, we can send you an online catalogue so you can choose the surprise you want in your room when you arrive: a helium balloon, bouquet of flowers, rose petals, box of chocolates etc.
This service is provided at an extra charge in partnership with Ma Boutique Hotel.

Are there safes in the rooms?

There are safes in all the Best Western Plus Hotel Masséna Nice rooms.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, small pets are welcome (max. 5kg). Guests must complete a disclaimer on arrival and pets are not allowed in the breakfast room.

How much does the car park cost?

Our 4* hotel's private and secure garage costs 25€/day in low season and 35€/day in high season and over Christmas.

How much does the private beach cost?

We work in partnership with Ruhl private beach. Hotel Masséna guests get a discounted rate of 32€/day instead of 37€. The price includes a deckchair, parasol, towel hire and locker access.

Do you have a restaurant in the hotel?

There is no restaurant at our hotel. We only service breakfast. You can find restaurant suggestions nearby our hotel on our digital concierge and blog. Our reception team will be delighted to help you during your stay.

Is your hotel wheelchair-friendly?

Absolutely, the Hotel Masséna Nice is wheelchair-friendly.

Do you provide room service for breakfast?

Room service for breakfast is available for an extra 5€/person.

Do you provide gluten-free breakfasts?

Yes We can provide gluten-free options on request at no extra charge (bread, cereal, biscuits). Please inform us in advance.

Do you serve brunch?

No, our hotel does not serve brunch. Our breakfast buffet is available every day until 10.30am in winter and 11am in summer.

I need to leave early, can I get breakfast before the buffet opens?

Yes, we provide an "express breakfast" option to eat in the lobby or take away.

What time is breakfast served?

Our breakfast buffet is available every day from 7am to 10.30am in winter and 11am in summer.
We open the breakfast buffet early at 5.30am for certain sporting events (Marathon, Ironman).

Do you have an airport shuttle service?

We do not provide an airport shuttle service. We can provide you with the details of the partner company we work with.

Do you have motorbike parking? How much does it cost?

You can park motorbikes and cars in our secure private garage. It costs the same as parking a car.

Is your car park secure?

Yes, it's a locked private and secure garage which you can only enter with a fob.

Is there a height limit for the car park?

Yes, the height limit for our private car park in 1.8m.

Are there other car parks near the hotel?

The nearest public car park to Hotel Masséna is Masséna on 16 avenue Félix Faure 06000 Nice. The height limit for the car park in 1.9m. It costs 3.60€ per hour or 29.20€ for 24 hours.

Can I walk from the station?

Absolutely. Nice station is a 15 minute walk from the Hotel Masséna Nice. You can take tram line 1 from the hotel to Nice station too.

Do you have an EV charging station?

Our hotel in Nice has an electric terminal to charge our customers' electric vehicles. Pre-booking this service is strongly recommended at the time of your reservation.

Yes, there is a drop-off point in front of the hotel for buses and light vehicles. Our team of luggage handlers/receptionists is here to help you.

What's the easiest way to get to the airport?

There are several quick and easy options to get to Nice Côte d’Azur Airport from the Hotel Masséna.

The least expensive is tram line 2. Walk on Avenue Jean Médecin to Jean Médecin station to go straight to the airport.
